A routine traffic stop in Tamarac has resulted in the arrest of a North Lauderdale man who is wanted for murder in El Salvador, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said. More than $62 million worth of cocaine, marijuana sails into Port Everglades

Several tons of cocaine and marijuana that have been snatched from the international drug pipeline arrive at Port Everglades today in the latest show of enforcement by the Coast Guard. The agency will be offloading about $14,000 pounds of marijuana and 3,660 pounds of cocaine from the Portsmith, Virginia-based Coast Guard Cutter Bear.
