FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Athletics today announced a new corporate partnership with Angelo’s Pizzeria, naming the local favorite as an official athletics partner for the Sharks.
The multi-year agreement brings together two prominent Davie institutions to support NSU’s student-athletes, enhance fan experiences, and strengthen community engagement across campus sports programs.
Through this partnership, Angelo’s Pizzeria will feature prominently across NSU Athletics events, including high-visibility venue signage, game-day promotions, and digital media integrations. Fans attending Shark home events at Rick Case Arena, Amerant Bank Field and the NSU Baseball & Softball Complexes will also have opportunities to participate in co-branded fan contests, special ticket promotions, and exclusive game-day offers.
To kick off the partnership, Angelo’s Pizzeria is offering an exclusive promotion for the Shark community: all NSU students and employees who show a valid NSU ID will receive a FREE slice of cheese pizza from October 5 through October 10, along with $10 % discounted offers.
“We are thrilled to welcome Angelo’s Pizzeria into the NSU Athletics family as an official corporate partner,” said Ryan Romero, Interim Athletic Director at Nova Southeastern University. “Angelo’s shares our deep commitment to the Davie community and to delivering top-tier experiences. This partnership directly supports our student-athletes and brings an exceptional dining option closer to our Shark Nation community.”
In addition to game-day activations and special promotions, Angelo’s Pizzeria will collaborate with NSU Athletics on community outreach initiatives and local team hospitality, serving as a go-to dining destination for student-athletes, visiting teams, and Shark fans alike.
“As a local business rooted in the Davie community, joining forces with Nova Southeastern University Athletics is an incredible honor,” said Joe Parisotti, Owner of Angelo’s Pizzeria. “NSU has built a tradition of excellence both on the field and in the classroom, and we look forward to feeding Shark fans and fueling student-athletes all season long.”
