‘Cruel’ driver stops to let pedestrian cross his path – then rams the man with his car

The sage but cynical advice “beware the kindness of strangers” was proven in a supermarket parking lot in Oakland Park, when a driver braked to let a pedestrian cross in front of his car. Worker injured in fall from scaffold at Dania Beach construction site, fire officials say

A 45-year-old construction worker was taken to the hospital after he fell from some scaffolding at a work site in Dania Beach, said Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue. The fall happened just before noon Wednesday on the fifth floor of a building at 850 Stirling Road, officials said.
