A woman from Fort Lauderdale is dead after her truck was crushed by a semi trailer Sunday afternoon. The woman, who has not yet been identified, was in her Ford F150, which became wedged under the overturned semi at Southern Boulevard and State Road 700, according to Florida Highway Patrol. Boil-water notice issued for part of Fort Lauderdale’s Hendricks Isle

An emergency repair to Fort Lauderdale’s water system prompted the city to issue a boil-water notice Sunday night.
