For third time in three weeks, Dillard High faces lockdown amid threat reports

For the third time in three weeks, weapons investigations at Dillard High School led to a lockdown and police search on Friday of the Fort Lauderdale campus. The school was secured at 12:03 p.m. and the lockdown was lifted 19 minutes later, Fort Lauderdale police spokeswoman Casey Liening said. Fatal hit and run suspect on the run, detectives say

Detectives may have identified the driver involved in a hit and run that killed a pedestrian in Deerfield Beach, but they say he is evading capture and they are seeking the public’s help to find him.
