For third time in three weeks, Dillard High faces lockdown amid threat reports

For the third time in three weeks, weapons investigations at Dillard High School led to a lockdown and police search on Friday of the Fort Lauderdale campus. The school was secured at 12:03 p.m. and the lockdown was lifted 19 minutes later, Fort Lauderdale police spokeswoman Casey Liening said. Detectives may have identified the driver involved in a hit and run that killed a pedestrian in Deerfield Beach, but they say he is evading capture and they are seeking the public’s help to find him.
