A Fort Lauderdale man on Thursday was acquitted of murdering his father, but he was found guilty of abusing a body — his father’s dismembered remains found in Boca Raton. A father of two last seen a week ago leaving work at the airport was killed and his body was left behind an abandoned Tamarac building, authorities said Thursday. Mackoni Hall, 40, of Hollywood, vanished on a Wednesday, March 13. He was last seen about 2 p.m. that day leaving work at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
