Citing Brian Flores case, Wasserman Schultz says Congress must investigate ‘egregious lack of representation and opportunity for Black leaders in the NFL’

“These difficult conversations around racism, discrimination and accountability cannot be pushed to the sidelines. I’d be remiss not to mention the obvious: the NFL has a sexism and a race problem, a race problem that it refuses to seriously address,” Wasserman Schultz said. “My hometown Miami Dolphins are now the catalyst to this conversation over the lack of diversity among football’s coaching and executive ranks, and hopefully this will result in reform.”
