“You know, 10 months ago we stood on this facility with weeds growing out of the ground and tumbleweed rolling past us,” Beckham said during a recent visit to the club’s training facility in Fort Lauderdale. “I think people were very surprised and not very optimistic that [this] was going to be possible. I think the proof is when people come down and see what’s been created, I think people are very excited about it and pleased to see it happen.”
