A third person has been charged in the shooting death of a Margate man.
A Broward Grand Jury has indicted Kizzie Thomas, 20, for the murder of Dean Hyatt, 20. She joins Richard Michael Cunningham, 19, of Fort Lauderdale, and Kemarley Wilson, of Lauderhill, who were both arrested and charged within weeks of the murder, records showed.
Thomas was arrested Tuesday for the fatal shooting that happened about 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 4, in the parking lot outside the Caravel Arms Apartments, at 4844 N.W. 24th Ct., in Lauderdale Lakes, investigators said.
The indictment states Thomas and Cunningham are responsible for the shooting that killed Hyatt. Wilson was charged as an accessory after the fact and is accused of driving the getaway car.
During a court appearance Wednesday, Thomas was ordered to remain jailed without bond.
Cunningham is also being held without bond. Wilson was released on $2,500 bond on Aug. 31, jail records showed.
