Man robs couple at gunpoint, stealing car, purse and other valuables

A couple was robbed of a car and valuables by an armed man in a Pompano Beach park, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said Monday. The carjacking happened April 29 at about 1:15 p.m. in Apollo Park, at 1580 NW Third Ave. The park is west of North Dixie Highway and the Pompano Beach Air Park.
