Tamarac man dies in Turnpike crash
A 25-year-old Tamarac man is dead and his 30-year-old female passenger was critically injured after a motorcycle accident on the Turnpike early Saturday, the Florida Highway Patrol said. FHP Lt. Alvaro Feola said Matias Rasuk died at the scene after losing control of his 2010 Kawasaki ZX100 bike near mile marker 94. A driver in Lauderdale Lakes was in critical condition after he was rescued from a pickup truck that went into the water Friday night, authorities said.
