Motorcyclist dies in Hollywood crash that injured two others, police say

A motorcyclist died on Tuesday evening in a crash in Hollywood that injured two others, police said.

The crash happened shortly after 8 p.m. in the area of Sheridan Street and North 66th Avenue. Hollywood Police had not released information about the circumstances or cause of the crash as of Wednesday afternoon.

The person driving the motorcycle was killed, and a passenger on the motorcycle was injured.

A woman driving another vehicle was also injured. She and the motorcycle’s passenger were both taken to Memorial Regional Hospital, according to Hollywood Police.

The woman driving the second vehicle involved in the crash was later taken to Jackson Memorial Burn Center in Miami for her severe injuries, the police department said. She is in stable condition as of Wednesday.
