Much of Florida is in the forecast cone for Tropical Storm Elsa as of Thursday night, according to the National Hurricane Center. There is a great deal of uncertainty in the track and strength of the storm, but forecasters said it’s possible that Elsa could strengthen into a Category 1 hurricane at some point along its path. If Elsa does track near Florida, it would likely be late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. Here’s the updated forecast path:
