Fort Lauderdale and all of Broward County is in the forecast cone for Tropical Storm Elsa as of Thursday night — along with much of Florida — according to the National Hurricane Center. There is a great deal of uncertainty in the track and strength of the storm, but forecasters said it’s possible that Elsa could strengthen into a Category 1 hurricane at some point along it’s path.
