Where to eat (and party!) on New Year’s Eve in South Florida, with these foodie-fabulous restaurant specials

So it’s New Year’s Eve and you’re cleaning up your home following supper … Not. Going. To. Happen.

That’s no way to start 2025, especially here in South Florida where there are a host of restaurants with NYE special offers for you to ring-a-ding-dinner the night away.

We’ve rounded up a list of our favorite foodie-fabulous Dec. 31 dining specials in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Keep in mind that prices do not include taxes and gratuities.

BROWARD COUNTY

Vitolo

This Italian restaurant at Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach will have New Year’s Eve specials featuring a Caviar Platter and a Seafood Tower, each at market price, and a 20-ounce, Cowboy Bone-in Ribeye for $100. There will also be an After Dark Party set for 1 to 3 a.m., with passed bites such as Potato Croquettes with Caviar, Bruschetta Bites and Antipasto Plates.

There will be two seatings for NYE. The first is at 5 p.m. with an á la carte menu. Then the 9:30 p.m. seating will have a prix-fixe menu priced at $185 per person that includes:

  • A Greek Salad and a Pikilia of four spreads with Grilled Pita bread
  • Appetizer choices: Spanakopita, Grilled Octopus, Lamb and Beef Keftedakia or Shrimp Saganaki
  • Main course selections: Grilled Sirloin with Greek Fries, Lavraki/Branzino, Grilled Lamb Chops, Lobster Pasta or Half Organic Chicken
  • Assortment of desserts selected by the chef as well as a Champagne Toast at midnight

GG’s Waterfront

The GG’s Waterfront New Year’s Eve Gala is from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and costs $175 per person. There will be dancing to a live band, a Champagne toast at midnight and party favors. The gala’s dinner will feature:

  • A Cheese and Charcuterie selection for your table and a Crab Louie Salad starter
  • Main dish choices include: Mediterranean Bronzino with Blue Crab and Baby Shrimp, Squid Ink Lobster Tagliatelle with Bay Scallops, or Grilled Filet Mignon with vegetable frites and mole sauce
  • Desserts include: Olive Oil Cake, Vanilla Cheesecake and Chocolate Mousse Dome

Lona Cocina & Tequileria

This restaurant at The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort will have DJ entertainment from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. along with party favors and a complimentary glass of Champagne for the midnight toast. In addition to a limited dinner menu served until midnight, there will be a New Year’s Eve Feast prix-fixe holiday menu for $75 per person available from 5 to 10 p.m. Chef Juan Carlos Peña’s three-course dinner will include:

  • A starter choice of: Tetela de Wagyu with tomatillo, cilantro, crema, queso fresco and beer marinade, or Hamachi in sweet corn and vanilla sauce with guajillo, corn tostada, heirloom tomato and cucumber
  • Entrée options: Poached Halibut with roasted carrots, poblano sauce and street elote, or Wagyu Short Rib in guava mole with crispy onions, truffle beans, kale and ancho dust
  • Dessert selections: Platano Macho Financier with diplomat cream, plantains, tequila reposado and Mexican chocolate, or Passion Fruit Mousse with Champagne glaze, white chocolate and almond cake

PALM BEACH COUNTY

Pink Steak

This steakhouse will have a prix-fixe menu priced at $295 per person with bottle of Champagne per couple and a DJ. The first seating will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., with a second seating from 8:30 to 11 p.m.

  • First course: White Tuna Tataki
  • Second course: Beets and Mozzarella Salad
  • Third course: Maine Lobster Agnolotti
  • Fourth course: Braised Wagyu Short Rib
  • Dessert: Frasier and Raspberry Cake Duo

Corvina Seafood Grill

It will be a James Bond-themed dining experience at Corvina on NYE with live classic jazz entertainment, complimentary Champagne toast, Golden Goat caviar, cigars on the patio, party favors and a three-course prix fixe dinner for $125 per person that will be curated by executive chef Jeff Tunks. After an amuse bouche including a Mini Smoked Salmon and Ossetra Caviar Pizzette, the menu will include:

  • First course, choice of: Maine Lobster Bisque, Local Burrata amd Farmer Mike’s Heirloom Tomato Salad, Iced Shrimp and Colossal Crab Cocktail, Grilled Spanish Octopus, Wild Mushroom and Spinach Crepe, or Mini Wagyu “Beef Wellington” Piroshki
  • Main course options: Local Yellowtail Snapper “Almondine,” Pan Seared Maine Diver Scallops, Crispy Thai Red Snapper, Mushroom Crusted Halibut, Veal Chop “Oscar,” Corvina’s Daily Catch, or a USDA Prime 14-ounce N.Y. Strip Steak
  • Dessert: Mile High Atlantic Beach Pie, Fresh Baked Gooey Butter Cake (with Lilly’s Vanilla Ice Cream), or Flourless Chocolate Torte

Blackbird Modern Asian

Not only will Blackbird have a party with lots of bubbly and party swag, but executive chef Tim Nickey will serve an à la carte menu from 4 to 6 p.m. followed by a four-course, prix-fixe menu at $150 per person featuring Pan-Asian fare. DJ Karina will spin from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., and there will be a sparkler display around the restaurant’s 12-foot-tall golden Buddha for the midnight countdown.

A few highlights from the prix-fixe menu include: Lobster Pancakes, Mongolian Brisket Buns, Szechuan N.Y. Strip Steak, Miso Black Cod and a Chocolate NYE Ball Drop, a dark chocolate sphere infused with milk chocolate mousse and sesame marshmallow foam made by executive pastry chef and “Guy’s Grocery Games” winner, Denise Elrod.

Fern

This restaurant — known for having its privately owned Rancher’s Reserve providing beef and pork —  will have a prix-fixe menu for $95 a person. Guests can choose one dish from each course.

  • Starter: Steak Tartare, West Shrimp or Squash Blossom
  • Main course: Coconut Curry Local Tilefish, Fresh Linguine with Rancher’s Reserve Braised Wagyu, or a Willow Bend Farms Lamb Chop (there will also be a 12-ounce Rancher’s Reserve N.Y. Strip available for an additional $45, and an 8-ounce Adams Ranch Filet Mignon for an additional $35)
  • Dessert: Tiramisu or Key Lime Pie

At this restaurant inside the Hilton West Palm Beach, chef de cuisine Joel Rodriguez will create a holiday surf-and-turf special to will be served from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. A regular dinner menu will also be available. Guests can enjoy a complimentary Champagne toast at midnight.

The NYE special menu will include:

  • Florida Stone Crab ($38)
  • Beef Tenderloin Carpaccio ($30)
  • 30-day Dry-Aged Ribeye ($62)
  • Baked Alaska ($18)

This waterfront restaurant will have party hats, live music and dancing as well as a five-course New Year’s Eve dinner for $350 per person and will include:

  • An amuse-bouche of Beet Tartare with a herb tart, goat cheese and smoked trout roe.
  • The first course selections are Wagyu Carpaccio or a Burrata Salad Niçoise.
  • The second course options are Lobster Ravioli, Stuffed Lamb Lollipop or a Truffle Risotto.
  • The main course choices are Beef Wellington, Duck Breast or Halibut.
  • Dessert will be an Ice Cream Bar with assorted toppings, Brandy Alexander cocktails and spiked peppermint mochas.
  • There will also be holiday cocktails — Shake the Snow, Mistletoe Margarita and Santa’s Sour.

MULTICOUNTY

El Camino

The traditional weekly “Mexican soul food” menu will be available. And while the signature happy hour will not be in effect, El Camino will have their margaritas for $14 and draft beers/bottles ranging from $6 to $8. There’s a take-the-party-home alternative with margaritas by the liter for $45 (serves 9) and coffee tequila by the liter for $75 (serves 16). For a limited time there will also be two seasonal cocktails:

  • Roasted Beet Margarita with Reposado Tequila, Toasted Beet Shrub, Yucatan Orange Cordial
  • Baked Apple Margarita with Reposado Tequila, Fall Apple Mix, Mexican Cinnamon

All locations will be open 11 am. to 2 a.m. on New Year’s Eve.

Both of these restaurants under the Buckhead Life Restaurants Group will offer an optional Three-Course Lobster Dinner Menu starting with a Stone Crab Claw, a salad of your choice and the your choice of Lobster Dinner as the main course. If you choose a main course of Twin Lobster Tails the price of dinner will be $135, while a Surf & Turf main course choice will mean your dinner will be $150, a Two Pound Steamed & Cracked will be $145 and a “Half” Two Pound Broiled & Stuffed will be $120. Ossetra Caviar) for $48.
