Condo inspection deadline still looms, despite governor’s call for relief

Gov. Ron DeSantis pledged that the Legislature would find a way to prevent the costs of newly required inspections and repairs from pricing low-income retired seniors out of their homes. Some lawmakers, however, say they don’t support changes before the Dec. 31 inspection deadline.
