Multiple people were injured in a shooting in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday evening, police said.
Fort Lauderdale Police said in a tweet about 9:30 p.m. that the shooting happened in the area of Northwest 19th Street and Northwest 29th Avenue. Additional details were not available.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Garrett Pingol said fire rescue transported multiple victims to the hospital but did not specify how many.
