A 1-year old child was found dead in West Park early Wednesday morning, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
A little after 6 a.m., deputies responded to the 3800 block of Southwest 58th Terrace for a medical call involving the child, the Sheriff’s Office said in a media release. Homicide and Crime Scene units are investigating the death.
The release did not say whether foul play is believed to be involved.
The Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death, the release said.
