11-30 In honor of Pride Month (June 2023), History Fort Lauderdale presents “Take PRIDE! A Retrospective of LGBTQ Life in South Florida,” an exhibit chronicling the gay rights movement and the migration of LGBTQ community members to South Florida. The event includes historical photographs, media stories, videos and costumes, all to help visitors learn about the rise of PRIDE and the growth of the LGBTQ community in South Florida.
