Shootings at a convenience store in Pompano Beach killed two people and injured two others on Sunday night, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies were called to the store in the 400 block of Northwest 27th Avenue about 9 p.m. and found four people who were shot, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Monday afternoon. Pompano Beach Fire Rescue officials took them to Broward Health North.

A man and woman were pronounced dead at the hospital. Another adult man and a minor boy were injured in the shootings. They are expected to recover, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Their names are being withheld under Marsy’s Law, a voter-approved constitutional amendment that allows crime victims to shield their identifying information from the public.

The Sheriff’s Office did not release further details or any information about a possible suspect or suspects.
WFOR-Ch .4 shared surveillance video from the convenience store Sunday night that showed a man fall to the ground of the parking lot as smoke and what appears to be bullets flew by him before he quickly got up and ran behind and white car and a red car parked outside in the lot. Another man entered the store and the man who ran behind the cars followed him in. Shortly after, a man who appeared to be hopping on one leg followed them both inside.
