According to the defense team, Karsenti and 13th Floor learned of the arsenic contamination in 2013 and, “Instead of covering the golf course with clean soil, two feet of arsenic contaminated soil was placed over the golf course … No discovery has been produced that provides any evidence that Broward County EPA ever sought, or that SPL or SCS ever provided, explanations for what can, without hyperbole, only be described as a debacle.”
