Florida GOP lawmakers poised to take on big business over COVID-19 vaccine mandates

House Speaker Chris Sprowls, R-Palm Harbor, and Senate President Wilton Simpson, R-Trilby, floated the possibility of leaving the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, ostensibly as a way of escaping compliance with Biden’s executive order requiring businesses with more than 100 employees to mandate COVID-19 vaccines for their workers. OSHA, however, hasn’t published the official rule detailing how the mandate will work.
