A Scientology-funded group, known as Youth for Human Rights, has been training Broward teachers with its curriculum for more than a decade, the district said. The group is now sponsoring a video contest, backed and promoted by the school district, which gives Broward students a chance to win up to $1,000 for creating a public service announcement that promotes human rights.
