Ten county and local officials were on hand and endorsed Holness, including Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis, Sheriff Gregory Tony, Clerk of Courts Brenda Forman and Lauderdale Lakes Mayor Hazelle Rogers. Holness said he has relationships in Palm Beach County, where 30% of the district’s voters live.
