City police arrived to the 2900 block of Southwest 13th Court at around 8:20 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire. Officers followed the sound of the shots and located an armed woman. She obeyed officers commands to drop her weapon and was taken into custody, a spokesman for the Fort Lauderdale Police Department said.
