Petty, who is an appointee of Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Florida State Board of Education, attached an interview he gave to the pro-gun website Bearing Arms, in which he said Greene told him that when she agreed with a Facebook post that the massacre was a false flag operation she wasn’t agreeing with that assertion, rather she said she was agreeing with a different assertion, that if the school resource officer on duty that day at the school had acted properly, the killer could have been stopped.
