Florida’s COVID-19 crisis easing; Friday’s report adds 3,815 cases and 89 deaths

“We have seen a real significant decline in coronavirus prevalence in the state of Florida,” Gov. Ron DeSantis told reporters Friday, during an event at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. “This has been going on now for weeks and weeks. And South Florida, although they had the more significant outbreaks, they’ve also had the steepest declines … the trend has been unmistakable.”
