York, 54, who had served time in a Virginia prison for stabbing another woman, has remained in jail since his arrest on a murder charge. He has a $250,000 bond on the murder charge and a $100,000 bond for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His case is pending review by a grand jury, an official said Thursday.
