Weekend preview: Hot dates, cold noses, men in tights in Deerfield Beach

For a unique gift that, at the very least, proves you put some thought into it, check out the Valentine’s-themed edition of Indie Craft Bazaar, which makes its return to downtown Fort Lauderdale’s live music headquarters, Revolution Live, noon-5 p.m. Sunday. This time-tested “independent art and handmade festival” takes place throughout the venue (including America’s Backyard and Stache) and features work by more than 75 artists, crafters, designers and makers, along with DIY activities, food and drink specials ($5 mimosas), and giveaways. Admission is $5, kids 10 and younger free. Parking is free in the northside lot between Revolution Live (100 SW Third Ave.) and Broward Boulevard. Visit Facebook.com/IndieCraftBazaar.
