Memorial Healthcare System, also known as the South Broward Hospital District, set a lower tax rate, too. The district board approved a rate of 12 cents per $1,000 of assessed value, making this the ninth year in a row that the board has voted to lower the overall millage rate for the district. It is the lowest rate in the history of the South Broward Hospital District.
