The school board debated an assortment of school calendar options earlier this year when parents complained about the Aug. 10 start dates proposed for 2020 and 2021. Now, the school board plans to add a day off for Primary Day, Aug. 18, 2020, when voters will cast ballots in congressional and legislative primaries as well as judicial races and school board elections.
