Powerful Hurricane Dorian tracks slightly north, forecast to move slightly farther east; winds still at 140 mph

The forecast track is still heading generally northwest, with Dorian 470 miles east of West Palm Beach. But first, it is expected to make a devastating impact on the northern Bahamas. Early Saturday, Dorian’s maximum sustained winds remained at 140 mph, Category 4 strength, as it moved northwest at 12 mph.
