Rapoport’s Restaurant Group, which operates Deck 84, Burt & Max’s, Max’s Grille and Prezzo in Palm Beach County, has spent the last few months safeguarding the group’s four restaurants by encouraging hand-washing and regular wiping down of menus, door knobs, and all handheld objects. As news reports of infected food service workers in Florida counties cropped up, Rapoport’s Human Resources Director Adam Rosenberg proactively reached out to the Department of Health and asked to have its food service handlers vaccinated on site at no charge to employees. The cost is covered by insurance or by the health department.
