A woman who was walking along a Fort Lauderdale street was attacked and sexually assaulted Thursday night, police have confirmed.
The incident happened along the 2200 block of Northwest 22nd Street. The area is south of Oakland Park Boulevard and just west of Interstate 95 — about two blocks west of Osswald Park.
Late Thursday night, Fort Lauderdale police said the attack was being actively investigated but had no other details about the incident or information about a potential suspect.
