A man accused of killing a Boca Raton woman at a massage parlor last week was arrested Tuesday on charges of first-degree murder, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.
Jacob Fought, 31, was taken into custody after being spotted walking in Lauderhill near the intersection of Commercial Boulevard and University Drive.
Daying Li’s body was found by a coworker at the Bing Bing Spa on March 21 around 10:43 p.m., said Keyla Concepcion, a spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Office.
Li worked at the massage parlor at 771 W. Oakland Park Blvd., just east of Powerline Road.
Authorities did not disclose how she was killed.
The day after Li was found dead, detectives released surveillance images of Fought, describing him as a possible customer who might have been the last person to see her alive.
The agency is asking anyone with further information about the crime to contact Detective Samantha Cottam at 954-321-4210.
