A dramatic Friday morning crash left a pickup on top of the hood of a car on University Drive in Sunrise with another crashed car on the other side of the road.
Before being separated by rescue crews and tow trucks, a white, Ford F250 truck was on top of the front end of a white Honda Civic. Across University Drive, a gray Honda Civic was reduced to wreckage — only recognizable by its trunk section.
Details about the crash and the extent of any injuries were not immediately available.
Because of the crash and investigation, the southbound lanes of University Drive were closed near Sunset Strip until shortly before 8:30 a.m.
