A 47-year-old Pompano Beach man sounded “in distress” when he called 911 for help after being stabbed, Broward Sheriff’s officials said, and now detectives are seeking the public’s help to catch his killer or killers.
John Altidor was attacked about 9:53 a.m. Sunday, in the 300 block of Southeast Ninth Avenue, detectives said.
Pompano Beach Fire Rescue took Altidor to Broward Health North Medical Center where he died a short time later, officials said.
Detectives are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone with additional information about one or more suspects to contact Detective Jeffrey Curtis at 954-321-4200 or Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 954-493-8477 or online at browardcrimestoppers.org.
