FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Despite their busy spring schedule, the Nova Southeastern student-athletes took the time to give back to the community, hosting three different tennis clinics for the Broward County Special Olympics.
The three-hour clinics that took place at the NSU Tennis Center at Rolling Hills featured the Sharks teaching the Special Olympic athletes difference strokes and playing fun games, preparing them for their upcoming matches.
“Our student-athletes get just as much out of this as the Special Olympic athletes do,” explained women’s tennis head coach Doug Neagle. “The joy on the all of the athletes’ faces says it all!”
