“The loss of Diana is beyond words, particularly for the city of West Park, which is Broward County’s youngest city,” Hardy said. “She was instrumental in helping us transition from being unincorporated to becoming a city. Because we were unincorporated, young, and we had no experience, she saw to it that certain things were taken care of by the county, such as subsidizing public safety, that type of thing.
