Veronica Catoe, CEO of the Florida Assisted Living Association, also took issue with the state’s report, saying in a prepared statement the organization has identified several “errors” involving facilities that were listed but did not have a single case of COVID-19. In one instance, a facility was included in the report because a vendor who had visited tested positive, but there was no evidence of transmission of the virus in the facility, she said.
