“The only way you can show that you were exposed to a specific person is to do a genetic analysis, and I don’t think that’s even possible with the coronavirus,” said Mary Jo Trepka, an epidemiologist at Florida International University. “The incubation is usually four to five days, but it can show up anywhere from two to 14 days [after exposure].”
