“It just smells so bad. It turns your stomach, it really does,” said Stephanie Toothaker, an attorney whose home is near the line break near Hector Park. “My son, said, ‘Mommy, the pipe ruined our Christmas.’ I really haven’t wanted to be in the house because it smells so bad … It’s coming in through the air-conditioning unit.”
