An infant girl hasn’t been seen since December, and Hollywood Police and state law enforcement are searching for her parents after the baby’s uncle went to the police station this week and said that the mother “made unsettling statements.”
“Baby Angelina,” who was born on Dec. 6, 2024, has not been seen since she was 10 days old, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s endangered missing child alert says.
Angelina was last seen near the 3000 block of Sheridan Street in Hollywood and may be with her parents, Samantha Feliz, 19, and Alejandro Leon Jr., 20, according to FDLE and Hollywood Police.
The baby’s uncle went to Hollywood Police within the last day or so and said he hadn’t seen Angelina “for quite some time,” police department spokesperson Deanna Bettineschi said Thursday.
“We were just made aware by the family,” she said.

“The family member claims the infant’s mother made unsettling statements,” Bettineschi said in a news release. “Detectives have been working diligently to find the mother and father who are both experiencing homelessness.”
Broward County court records show Feliz was evicted from an apartment in Hollywood earlier this year.
Feliz and Leon Jr. may be known locally as “the scooter people” because they previously were seen using electric scooters, FDLE’s alert says.
Authorities ask anyone with information to call Hollywood Police at 954-967-4636 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
