Soccer fans can kick it at the Promenade at Coconut Creek with a family friendly event devoted to the beautiful game.
The Soccer Experience is set for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, launching the shopping/dining/entertainment destination’s Summer of Family Fun series.
Staged in front of of the retail complex’s butterfly mural show, there will be a Penalty Shoot Game and a Soccer Field Game as well as other interactive activities. There will also be a DJ spinning tunes.
“During this event, kids and their families can also enjoy selfies with two costumed soccer-player characters as well as yard games and a variety of fantastic photo ops,” said Ivette Cordova, marketing coordinator for Promenade at Coconut Creek.
The bobble head-esque, soccer-player characters will resemble prominent pitch-praised personalities Lionel Messi (Argentina) and Kylian Mbappé (France).

The Promenade at Coconut Creek is located at 4467 Lyons Road. The butterfly mural is at the north parking garage ramp.
The Summer of Family Fun series will continue with a Barnyard Bash on July 30 and a Bubble Show on August 27.
