What brunch fans say

Hollywood resident Laura Wicks gushed about several aspects of Blue Moon Fish Co.’s brunch in her nomination form: “On the water and beautiful! Food is outstanding and the drinks are as well. Good for families, girls’ brunch. Also romantic, so take your special person. Did I say the food is amazing!?!?! Highly recommend!”

Brandi Palpant, of Plantation, was among those who nominated Boatyard: “Solid brunch menu. Twists on brunch classics, bottomless [drinks] and waterfront views.”

Over at Kristoff’s Kafe, several varieties of french toast were lauded.

“It’s the food and the staff. The food is super delicious,” wrote Davie resident Stacy Brown. “The challah french toast is a family favorite! We can’t eat french toast any other way no matter where we go! The service is quick and food is always served hot. It’s the best spot in Davie for some great food!”

Finally, Coconut Grove resident Daniel Pena made a bold claim in his nomination for Torno Subito: “The tortellini is what I would order as my last meal before I die.”
