MAP: Here’s the forecast track for potential Hurricane Rafael

Tropical Storm Rafael is expected to form on Monday and intensify into a hurricane by midweek, according to the National Hurricane Center.

The storm is expected to pass over the Cayman Islands and the western tip of Cuba before moving into the central Gulf of Mexico. From there, the forecast path shows the storm tracking toward the US Gulf coast somewhere between Texas and the Florida Panhandle.
