If you are proud of where you work, you still have time to earn recognition as a Top Workplace in South Florida.
For the 11th year, the Sun Sentinel will honor quality workplace culture in the region. Any organization with 35 or more employees in the region is eligible to earn Top Workplaces recognition.
The nomination deadline has been extended to Dec. 6. Anyone can nominate any organization, whether it is public, private, nonprofit, a school, or even a government agency. So far, nearly 200 employers have signed up to participate.
Companies will be honored in spring 2025. To nominate an employer or for more information on the awards, just go to SunSentinel.com/nominate or call 954-666-0786.
There is no cost to participate. To qualify as a South Florida Top Workplace, employees evaluate their workplace using a short 25-question survey that takes about five minutes to complete. Companies will be surveyed through January.

Energage, the Pennsylvania-based research partner for the project, conducts Top Workplaces surveys for media in 65 markets nationwide and surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 8,000 organizations in the past year.
For the 2024 awards, 138 employers in South Florida earned recognition as Top Workplaces.
The top South Florida finishers in each of the three categories in 2024 were:
Large category (400+ employees):
The Intercontinental Miami, which since 1985 has hosted leisure and business hotel guests on the edge of Biscayne Bay in downtown Miami, has been a centerpiece for tourism and business events. The guests hail from all over the world.
Midsize category (125-399 employees):
Roig Lawyers, which was created in 2000 by Fernando Roig, his wife, and a paralegal. The firm has attorneys throughout the state, with offices in Miami, the headquarters of Deerfield Beach, Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville, with scores more as support staff and paralegals. Roig Lawyers serves as legal counsel in insurance defense matters for corporations and insurance companies, such as car and health insurance companies, and acts as litigation counsel in civil disputes. Many clients are retail and grocery stores contending with slip-and-falls. The firm also represents technology companies and banks.
Small category (Fewer than 125 employees):
Century 21 Stein Posner, of Boca Raton, helps global colleagues for local buyers or sellers who want to buy or sell in, say, Paris.
