As Nova Southeastern Athletics continues to honor its rich history and tradition of athletic success, NSU Athletics has launched its Varsity Club.
This initiative coincides with the 40th anniversary of Nova Southeastern Athletics and is intended to serve the pioneers of both Knights and Sharks Athletics, who built NSU into the NCAA Division II powerhouse it is today. “It is a great pleasure to introduce the NSU Athletics Varsity Club,” Athletic Director and Associate Vice President Mike Mominey said. “This group of former NSU Knights and NSU Sharks will help us reconnect and reengage with individuals that have shaped our athletic programs for decades. Our former student-athletes – whether they competed 40 years ago or one year ago – are a critical part of our championship culture.”
The Nova Southeastern University Athletics Varsity Club is open to all former student-athletes, coaches, and staff.
The purpose of the NSU Athletics Varsity Club is to assist in promoting the academic and general athletic interest of the University in keeping with the traditions that exemplify the highest ideals of competition and sportsmanship. It will assist in promoting the continued development of the university’s athletic programs, locally, regionally and nationally. It will promote fellowship among members of the club, university administration and general student body. Additionally, it will support fundraising initiatives that enhance the athletic scholarships, student academic support and capital projects.

During the 2022-23 year, in honor of NSU Athletics’ 40th anniversary, donors at the $40 level will receive a limited edition NSU Knights or NSU Sharks t-shirt. Donations made at the $125 level and up will have access to sign up for our other Shark Club Benefits.
