Man found dead inside of vehicle in Fort Lauderdale

An unidentified man was found dead in a vehicle in Fort Lauderdale early Friday morning, police say.

Fort Lauderdale Police responded to a 911 call about 4 a.m. and found the man in a vehicle on the 800 block of Northeast 14th Place. He was pronounced dead on scene.

Authorities did not say how the man died or whether the death is believed to be a homicide.

“This is an ongoing investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident,” said Casey Liening, a spokesperson for the Fort Lauderdale Police department. “Additionally, we cannot confirm at this time if this is a stabbing.”
