Don Walker, a spokesperson for the fire department, confirmed a car crashed into the building and its driver was killed. Multiple news outlets have captured scenes of the fire and large clouds of dark smoke coming from the building.
In a release, the Florida Highway Patrol reported the car crashed into the building, sparking fireworks, after colliding with a pickup truck by the intersection. The driver of the truck, a 39-year-old woman from West Melbourne, was not injured and remained on-scene, FHP said.
